ANIMATION
IS THE MOST SPECTACULAR AND EXPENSIVE OF THE DIGITAL REPRESENTATION
PROCESSES.
Animation
is a sum of renders (from 25 to 30 each second) to which sound can be
added. As we have already explained, if they are added to other multimedia
elements we can obtain a movie.
The great
quantity of images to process is what makes the product more expensive,
due to both the hours of elaboration and the machinery necessary. A
study of profit is recommended to assess the value to the client.
This
handicap also affects the size of the files that grow exponentially.
This means that when possible we resort to large storage formats (CD
or DVD), but that when it is not possible (for example digital presentation
cards) or it creates problems of usability (web pages) the necessary
process of optimization is carried out.
The enclosed
photographs permit you to see three small examples of what animation
enables. It only requires a little imagination to think what we can
do with slightly more time, size and quality of image.
