WHAT IS RENDERING?
Rendering is the creation of three-dimensional objects from two-dimensional ones or simply from sketches and outlines by means of a data processing program. Generally, other more specific "software" is used to apply materials, lighting, cameras, backgrounds, special effects or even movement and sound. In the case of the last two we are talking about animation.
Renders are computer made photographs that simulate future objects and are ideal when the product has such a high price that it cannot be kept in stock (urban development, buildings, large machinery, etc.) At present renders are substituting traditional models, above all because of the re-use that digitization permits.
Rendering allows very different levels of finish and therefore very diverse prices. Renders can be created very quickly with a low price or with a more elaborate quality and a high level of reality and with a bigger budget. In accordance with what the client is willing to pay, the professional will provide him with a catalogue of possibilities.
