THE SOLUTION
TO THE ENIGMA. GENERAL THEMES OF NEW ARCHITECTURE.
1. The
extensive use of natural products of sustainable origin. Our main component
is wood originating from Finnish renewable forests. Furthermore, we
do not spare any expense in seeking alternatives as similar as possible
and to camouflaged harmful products used in conventional buildings.
2. The
prefabrication of the components in Finnish workshops permits quality
and optimum assembly. Our constructions are rarely more than four months
being built.
3. Environmental
construction is our inspiration. Our buildings have a unique look generated
by the study of the solar trajectory, the dynamics of the fluid “air”,
the protection from non-desirable elements, the disposition, geometry
and openings of each room, the exploitation of the scarce resource of
water, the minimum generation of waste, energy saving and the alternative
energy production among other influences. All in all, complex projects
resolved with great simplicity.
